Which type of chicken laid the speckled egg? Also, are you finding that you have any issues with attracting rodents from any leftover food for the chickens? That's been one of my main concerns about having my own.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure who laid that egg, the speckles have not happened latley, I think it might have been a fluke?
ReplyDeleteWe put the food in the coop at night when we lock the hens up and don't leave any uneaten food in the yard. We have not had any issues with preditors or rodents, kinda makes for a boring blog! :)
But success stories are inspiring even if there isn't a lot of news. Thank you for your information on preventing rodent attraction.
